  As if Sam Cooke headlining wasn’t enough, supporting acts included Etta James, Chuck Berry, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Muddy Waters and Buddy Guy.

  How come no one has ever made Woodstock-like references to this show, clearly the greatest single-day R&B lineup to occur, ever? 

  I’m not sure if it’s worth the Buy-It-Now price of $224, but I’d gladly pay just about any obscene amount of money to be there now.
